Late Summer, Leeds City Street Photography
I had a spare hour and so stopped in Leeds as I was passing through. There was a very strange atmosphere in the city, despite it being a warm and often sunny day people seemed gloomy and in their own little worlds.

Scafell Pike - We were higher than anyone else in England for a few hours.
We had an amazing day out escaping the heat further south and celebrating a 40th birthday.
Scafell Pike is the highest point in England, with only Snowdon in Wales and Ben Nevis in Scotland being higher in the u.k.
Photos taken and edited on my very old iPhone.

I used the Relive App to track parts of the walk. The app is a great way of sharing photography locations. Next time I’m out taking photos in an urban area I’ll see if it useful in a street photography setting.
Coca-Cola Truck Event
Photography taken at a festive event in the Winter of 2021. Mother nature couldn’t have been any more helpful/on point!

Tadcaster Floods February 2022
Sadly, Tadcaster once again suffered flooding in the centre of the Town. These images were taken shortly after the local council made comment that the towns new flood defences were “holding”

COVID-19 Lockdown Winter Weather
Over the past 24 months i have been super busy and neglected to update the website. I am dropping a few interesting sets of images from the backlog. Excited to say that i now have more time to work on my photography. This set was taken during a winter storm which occurred in the third COVID-19 lockdown in January 2021.
All images captured on an iPhone SE.

Sennen Cove September 2021
Sennen Cove is approximately 1 mile from Lands end in Cornwall. Sennen cove is one of the UK’s favourite surfing beaches and is busy all year round.
Sennen was our annual family holiday location when we were kids and hold a special place in my heart. This early autumn visit was blessed with indian summer weather along with some really great waves.

Possibly the best Hot Tub view in the world!
Having had numerous really great experiences with AirBnB both over in Europe and here in the UK we rented a property in Scotland which surpassed all others with its wood fired hot tub and epic views!

Leeds Labour Party - Amnesty International - Black Lives Matter Rally/Protest
Several groups came together to protest on the streets of Leeds today. The event seemed to be mishmash of different groups all with their own specific agendas with both the refugee crisis and BLM being loudly represented. The event was fairly well attended and although a serious affair the crowd seemed to be cheerfully participating with both adults and children getting involved. Luckily I had a camera on me and was able to capture a few shots of the protest as it evolved.

212 Cafe Bar
The 212 bar is one of the finest places in the city to enjoy music. The bar boasts an epic sound system with DJ's playing high quality house music delivered through a Rotary mixer. If you are a fan of vinyl a trip to the 212 is a must!
Sennen Cove, Cornwall, United Kingdom.
A short video experimenting with various cameras to capture the beauty and atmosphere of one of the UK's greatest surfing beaches.
A Late Summers Evening in Leeds
A short video I produced experimenting with a film look from a basic DSLR.
The location of the shoot was the south of Leeds City center, primarily on the south bank of the river Aire. The area may be familiar to viewers of ITV's DCI Banks as these are the locations for many of the shows scenes.
Leeds West Indian Carnival
The sun came out for the 49th annual Leeds carnival and everyone made the most of the last summer holiday!
Leeds Architecture (Part 1)
Images of some of the newer buildings in my local neighborhood. The new Victoria Gate shopping center is particularly controversial in the town. Personally I love it, it's a brilliant addition to Leeds and will look incredible when completed.
Glastonbury 2016
An extremely wet and muddy trip to Glastonbury this year. Amazing as always but OH SO MUDDY!

A quick trip to Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
Following the completion of my degree I spent a few days of well earned rest on the Island of Tenerife enjoying the local seafood and beer.
Tenerife is a beautiful island and my favorite of the Canaries. The volcanic mountain standing above the clouds makes for a stunning approach into the southern airport and once on the ground it is possible to completely relax away from the crowds or head in to one of the larger towns to experience the night life.
A perfect year round destination.
Yorkshire March for the NHS
Doctors, Nurses, Politicians and concerned members of the public from across Yorkshire turned out in Leeds today to protest against the ongoing contract changes and general discourse in the NHS.
A peaceful, but clearly heartfelt protest, which after a march ended with speeches outside the Town Hall.

A Yorkshire Winter -
The Leeds winter has been an eventful one this year.
In December the river lapped at our front door, flooded our neighborhood and caused chaos throughout the city.
In February snowflakes fell, giant snowflakes the size of my hands,
In March we saw massive storm clouds and beautiful rainbows.
Really looking forward to the summer now, there is no better place to be in the world than Yorkshire on a warm summers day.
